Woods Custom Rifles uses benchrest standard tolerances of .0001 to .0005 for rebarreling and action work. Each rifle is hand built for optimum accuracy and dependability. Specializing in the Remington 700 actions, 90% of all rebarreling jobs and custom rifles are built on the Remington 700 action in the world today. There must be a reason for this. That reason is accuracy, dependability, and simplicity. If you have different needs, you can not beat a Dangerous Game rifle built on the Winchester model 70, or a custom action bench rifle.

 Stock refinishing for everything from Grandpas' .22 all the way to full house custom rifles. Rifle bedding using the Sitman method of 100% stress relief to ensure optimum accuracy. Rifle bedding is a very important part of a great shooting rifle.

Trigger work done on current production rifles ( Remington 700, Winchester 70's, Savage, etc. ) and service rifles. Other action work incuding Marlin Slick action jobs, handguns including Smith & Wesson, Glock,and Ruger trigger jobs and action work.
 
Metal finishing using Hot Blue, Parkerization, and custom metal finishes such as Industrial chrome and Black "T". Antiquing is also available, an antique job and action work on a Marlin rifle brings the rifle to life and brings attention to the rifle.
